International Student Scholarship (ISS)
The ISS is available to all new international students in vocational, research, full degree and English packaged with academic courses. If you are a new student commencing in a future term and have successfully applied for the scholarship, you will be awarded 25% of your course tuition fee.
International Student Scholarship – Regional (ISS–R)
The ISS–R is available and automatically offered to all new international students in vocational, research, full degree and English packaged with academic courses at one of CQUniversity’s regional campuses including Adelaide and Perth. If you are a new student commencing in a future term, you may be awarded 25% of your course tuition fee.
Destination Australia Scholarships
The Destination Australia Scholarship is government-funded and available to new international students studying at either our Cairns or Rockhampton campus. If successful, you will be awarded A$15 000 per year for the duration of your course. You could also be eligible for an additional 25% of your tuition fee scholarship through the ISS–R
Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship
If you are undertaking a research higher degree at CQUniversity, you could be eligible for the Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship, which aims to provide funding to assist with your living costs
Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS)
The AAS provides opportunities for students from participating countries to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian institutions.
External Organisation Scholarships
A number of externally funded scholarships are also available to current international students who are enrolled at CQUniversity regional campuses in specific study areas and/or continuing into the second or third year of their degrees.

International students are required to demonstrate proficiency in the Academic Field

Bachelor : Successful completion of an Australian year 12 qualification with a minimum pass in an accepted.

Master : The Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or international equivalent)

Master : Applicants who have a successfully completed an Australian bachelor degree (or international equivalent) will be considered if they have at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

International qualifications are assessed for comparability to Australian qualifications according to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
